Oasis Awards Volunteers at Annual Meeting

The Oasis Health Network, a Brunswick-based nonprofit health care provider that serves the area’s uninsured, recently held its Annual Meeting and Award Ceremony at the Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick. In attendance were Oasis board members, staff and volunteers, as well as representatives of the two area hospitals, several local legislators and community supporters. In addition to the award ceremony, the crowd had a chance to sing a surprise happy birthday tune to Dr. Peter McGuire, Founder and Medical Director for Oasis.
The event recognized 19 local clinical and administrative volunteers for their service to Oasis and its patients. Those recognized were: Stephen Austin, MD, John Chomyn, MD, Philip Crichton, MD, Mark Eule, MD, Robert Finegold, MD, Keith Fleming, MD, Jamie Kline, MD, Scott McClintock, MD, Steven Stern, MD, and Joan Sutcliffe, MD, of Radiology Specialists of Maine; Daniel Wood, MD, Alexandra Wilson, MD, Andree Appel, PA, Paul Parker, RN, Chari Burdick, Elizabeth Johnson, RN, John Bauman, DDS, and Anne Morhan.
